To her friends and coworkers she was Margaret, but to her family she was Mar-Ce: a contraction of her first and middle name, Margaret Cecilia, to avoid confusion because her mother was also named Margaret. Daughter number four in a family that would eventually grow to nine children, Mar-Ce was born on January 5th, 1950 to Norman and Margaret Faust. From an early age, Margaret was in love with music and dance. She took dance lessons when she could, and learned to play the piano. Her musical tastes ranged from classical music to the Beatles, and as her knowledge grew, Margaret became more and more focused on her dream of pursuing a career in dance.
